Reflecting on his recent trip to the FIND Design Fair Asia in Singapore in September 2023, Travis Tandy, one of the Lead Designers at VERSHOME, expressed profound admiration for the event’s focus on sustainability and innovative use of recyclable materials. Noticing the design industry’s growing commitment to environmental consciousness, he was particularly inspired by insights from an event participant who emphasized designing with sustainable materials.

The fair showcased inventive uses of sugar cane, recycled PLA, and recycled paper as base materials for 3D-printed booths, which were masterfully integrated with technological elements to create unprecedented design forms intended for continuous use rather than exhibition waste.
